CARE Rescue began its journey in Dumaguete in 2017 with a simple but meaningful mission: to give abandoned, neglected, and mistreated dogs and cats a second chance at life. In 2021, when our founder got married, the rescue relocated to Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, where our mission continues today.
Beyond rescuing animals from the streets, CARE also strives to address the root of animal overpopulation by providing free spay and neuter services to pet owners who cannot afford them. Through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and prevention, we hope to create a future where fewer animals are abandoned, abused, or left to suffer.
But we cannot do this alone. Every rescue, every meal, every treatment, and every spay or neuter is made possible through compassionate people who choose to stand with us. With your support, we can continue giving animals the love, protection, and second chances they deserve.

What We Do
We advocate for spaying and neutering as a humane and responsible way to help reduce the growing population of stray dogs and cats in the Philippines.
We educate pet owners to be responsible with their pets to prevent more abandoned and stray dogs and cats.
We rescue abandoned and abused dogs and cats, giving them the care, protection, and second chance they deserve.
